This family home is placed at the top of a steeply sloping site facing a creek and a reserve of large native trees. The house has been designed to minimise disturbance to the natural ground line and maximise views. Two distinct volumes, one for living and one for sleeping, are arranged for views and to maximise solar access. The volumes are raised above the ground and terrace down the slope forming connected outdoor spaces.
